As suggested by my 17 year-old daughter, Brandy, I created this blog. Originally, it's purpose was so that I could gain a bit of insight into her life. After much exploring, I have discovered how creative this form of expression can be. And since I can never have too many creative outlets, I thought it would be a nice way for her to know a few things about me as well. After all, I may be a mom on the outside....but Im a person on the inside. Just like everyone else.

Colorado Springs…
I think about it all the time, moving there. I seriously long for a fresh start in life, but worry its just my escape mechanisms taking over.

This is probably going to get quoted in every publication just because I said it. And I’m not even saying anything. I’m not talking about my films, I’m not talking about my life, and I’m not talking about the world. And yet, the media will print it simply because I said it. And at this moment in time, I bet there is an artist around the corner of this hotel, on the street, with a mind far beyond ours, but we will never listen to him simply because he has not appeared in a movie. And that is what is fucked up about our culture.
Things are always as easy or as difficult as you allow them to be.
